FOR THOSE WHO ARE NEW TO THE HEAT
Heat is an essential part of the experience at THESTUDIO – it supports detoxification, increases flexibility, and creates a deeper sense of presence.
But we understand that everyone comes with different needs. That’s why we also offer selected sessions with gentle heating, as well as a few non-heated classes – designed for those seeking a softer transition or simply preferring a milder practice.
“The heat meets you, softens the body, and opens the mind – a space for transformation begins.”
HOT BIKRAM YOGA
Bikram Yoga is a deeply therapeutic practice that helps the body and mind find balance. Through a fixed sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises, performed in a heated room at 40°C, this practice creates a holistic approach to wellbeing.
Heat increases flexibility by loosening the muscles and improving circulation, while the deep breathing exercises strengthen the respiratory system and promote calm and presence.
If you are already experiencing an overactive or overstimulated nervous system, Bikram Yoga can help you find balance – offering an opportunity to regulate stress levels, create calm, and achieve mental clarity.
In addition to the physical benefits, Bikram Yoga supports the body’s natural detoxification processes while helping to support and optimise all major systems, including the lymphatic, digestive, endocrine, detoxification, and nervous systems.
The increased blood circulation helps the liver and kidneys perform their essential functions, while sweating helps cleanse the skin and can promote a healthy, radiant glow.
Heat, movement, and compression postures support the body’s natural cleansing processes for optimal health.
Bikram Yoga is a practice accessible to all levels – especially beginners. It is both challenging and safe, offering a structured yet personal journey toward greater strength, flexibility, and emotional balance.
HOT YOGA
This class focuses on the safe practice of yoga asanas through a strong foundation in breath and mindful movement. Students will work with essential breathing techniques as well as variations of postures in a gentle flow.
The sequence covers key postures with the option to use props such as blocks and bolsters to support strength, stability, alignment, and sustainable progression.
Perfect for those looking to build confidence, strength, and flexibility in a supportive, flow-based practice.
You will leave the class feeling renewed, grounded, and clear-minded, ready to meet the day with calm.
Room temperature: 30–35°C.
HOT PILATES
Hot Pilates focuses on a safe and controlled Pilates practice through a strong foundation of core activation, alignment, and mindful movement. You will work with essential techniques for stability, body control, and precise movement patterns in a focused flow.
The sequence covers key exercises with the option to adjust intensity through controlled pacing and mindful activation, supporting strength, stability, balance, and sustainable progression.
Perfect for those looking to build strength, body awareness, and control in a supportive, heated training environment – forming a strong foundation for functional strength and movement quality.
You will leave the class feeling strong, clear, and more balanced in your body.
Room temperature: 35–38°C.
HOT YIN YOGA
Yin yoga is a slow and meditative practice that focuses on holding passive postures for extended periods, typically between 3 and 5 minutes. Unlike more active yoga styles such as Vinyasa, Yin yoga targets the deeper connective tissues, including ligaments, tendons, and fascia, rather than the muscles. The long-held stretches help increase flexibility, improve joint health, and enhance circulation.
Ideal for those seeking deep relaxation, increased flexibility, and stress relief.
HOT VINYASA YOGA
Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic and flowing style of yoga that emphasizes the seamless connection between breath and movement. In a Vinyasa class, each movement is synchronized with either an inhale or an exhale, creating a smooth and continuous flow of postures.
Ideal for those seeking a creative, flowing practice that builds both strength and flexibility.
STRONG | MOBILITY
A dynamic and energising practice designed to build strength, endurance, and flexibility through breath-linked, continuous full-body movements. Get ready to sweat, engage your core, and build resilience.
You are encouraged to explore your own limits with awareness and choice. Variations are offered to make the practice accessible for different bodies and experience levels.
The practice cultivates focus on movement and breath, where clear guidance and a strong collective energy create a supportive and motivating environment.
You leave the class feeling strong, energised, and deeply connected to your body and breath.
Room temperature: 25–30°C.
ROLL & RELEASE
This class is a form of myofascial therapy that uses targeted pressure on specific points in the muscles to release tension and improve mobility.
The method is based on the understanding that muscles and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding the muscles) are interconnected throughout the body, and that tension in one area can cause pain and restricted movement in another.
By working specifically on these points using a trigger point ball rolled over selected muscles and tendons, you can help release built-up tension, reduce or in some cases eliminate pain, and improve overall mobility.
Your instructor guides you through hand positioning, relevant movements, and breathing techniques to create a more effective and deeper release.
Room temperature: No heat required.
HOT RESTORATIVE YOGA
Restorative yoga is a gentle and deeply relaxing practice designed to promote healing, rest, and renewed energy. The focus is on supporting the body in passive postures held for extended periods—typically 5 to 20 minutes—using props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks to create comfort and stability.
Ideal for those in need of stress relief, deep relaxation, and a pause from the pace of everyday life.
